I wish I could say that England has been seemless, but every journey has ups and downs. Some Valleys are much lower and tougher. I had brushed off this small wound just before the Millenium event began as I have a million times before and we won. However London was right, I should have had it checked out asap. A week later the delayed effects kick in starting with a locked up calf and a infected rash area around the gash. As the days go by my foot to my buttox shut down, and I feel like I have a flu, fever and hallucinations.
In all the dangerous habitats I've been, and even living in the outback of Florida, I managed to find 1 of the 4 lethal spiders in the UK and it bit me well. I thought the wasp sting in the lip was the worst. If I haven't replied, I'm sorry, I've been dying in the hospital and have no signal or energy.
To make matters worse, wow air won't refund me or exchange for a later flight, even as a standby when I paid flight protection on every oversea flight. I guess that money is a scam. Their one call line person had me on the call line for 5 hours this morning (while I'm burning up) to tell me there's nothing he can do like I'm just a number when these flights are always half empty. I'll never fly Wow again. Icing on the cake.....UK Healthcare is free right? Accept the arm and a leg for staying over night and the meals provided all day. And in this situation my options are either stay till they say......or die at home
The positive side.........a lousy Steve Irwin type bucket list item survived. And always be grratful for the days your healthy. Sometimes we forget normal is great and take it for granted until we remember what illness is.
Get me home to my wolf and a break to hide away and recover
