Jeffrey Wright is a great American Warrior that now finds himself in the toughest battle of his life. He has been diagnosed with stage 4 Squamos Cell throat cancer. His chances of survival are extremely rare and he has prepared himself for his young life to end soon. Jeffrey has always been a fighter and has faced extreme tests of mental and physical endurance before. Having served in both the United States Marine Corps and the Navy Seals, Jeff has pushed himself to the highest limits and has never given up. This is how he is approaching his battle with cancer. He will not let the bastard that cancer is defeat him. Jeffrey is not accustomed to defeat and after spending several tours in Iraq and Afghanistan he settled down in Maine to raise a family .
Jeff has 3 boys William 9, Larsen 7, and Fin 4. They are the absolute love of his life and he dreams of the day he can be reunited with them. Even if it might be the last time they all see each other, he wants to pass knowing they will be alright. Because of Jeffrey's recent battle with PTSD, and a nasty divorce, he now finds himself destitute. Jeffrey grew up in Northern California and that is where he wants his journey to ultimately end. Knowing him, when the time comes, he will paddle under the Golden Gate on his surfboard and ride one last wave to meet his maker.
This Go Fund Me account is being created by Jeff's family (Tony Clumeck and Greg Wright) to assist Jeffrey with his move to California and his ongoing medical care. The money raised will allow for Jeff to live in his own place for two months, while he fights this disease. We are also looking to enable Jeff to pursue some immunology treatments which can be quite expensive. He has a hard fight ahead, and is going to be slapped with medical bills that will make it extremely hard to focus on the fight. If Cancer somehow defeats him (considering the stage he is in and how large the tumor is), then we as a family will invite his friends to honor him with a military funeral, spreading his ashes in the Pacific, and leaving a legacy for his 3 boys to see.
