Help Keep the Heart of Hugglescote Beating: Save Our Church Clock!

For generations, the striking clock face on the tower of St John the Baptist Church has stood as a proud guardian over Hugglescote. It has been a constant, reassuring presence in our skyline—looking down on weddings, christenings, community celebrations, and the quiet moments of our everyday lives.

But right now, time is running out. Years of weathering and wear have taken a severe toll on the clock's historic mechanism. Without urgent restoration, this vital piece of Hugglescote’s heritage risks falling silent and frozen forever. We need to raise funds to bring specialists in to repair the intricate internal gears, restore the dial, and preserve this local landmark for generations to come.

Why It Matters

St John the Baptist isn’t just a building; it’s the historical anchor of our village. In a fast-changing world, the church clock is a shared connection to our past and a symbol of community continuity. When a village loses its clock, it loses a piece of its heartbeat.
