Save Hollin Hills Parklands

Help Hollin Hills Parks Preservation (HHPP) meet the costs of challenging the planned stream restoration projects in Goodman and Brickelmaier parks.

Hollin Hills Parks Preservation (HHPP) was created in 2019 to give voice to the protection of Hollin Hills parks. Goodman, Brickelmaier and Paul Spring parks are imminently threatened by a “stream restoration” project funded by Fairfax County.  The County project will reshape terrain, cut down hundreds of trees, clear-cut park entrances, destroy animal habitats, and permanently remove the old growth canopy that shades the park and neighboring homes.

HHPP has filed a lawsuit against Civic Association of Hollin Hills (CAHH) and the Board of Supervisors in Fairfax Circuit Court with the purpose of setting aside the illegal easements which conveyed these parks to the County.

Our goal is to save our historic parks, initiate a better approach to restoration, and to have a more positive impact on the environment than the project planned by the County.  The good news is that it can be accomplished.  Two Hundred fifty-six (256) Hollin Hills households (to date) have signed a petition advocating a gentler touch in resolving erosion issues in the parks.

Please consider joining us and giving to this cause.  Your contributions will directly apply to the legal costs related to our lawsuit.
