Help save our Stage! High Wycombe Gang Show

We need your help to save our props, scenery and staging from the skip!
High Wycombe Scout & Guide Gang Show is a local variety show that has been running since 1986 in the centre of High Wycombe.
Our Cast & Crew consists of 100+ local members of the Scout and Guide Associations who produce, manage and perform the entire show. If you have never been to one of our shows before let us amaze you with the enthusiasm and talent of our local cast where everyone shines!
Our vision is to keep reusing and recycling our scenery, props and staging. We have done this for many years trying to keep our costs down and in turn being good for the environment.
All of our staging, scenery and props are hand made by a team of volunteers, parents and leaders. They really do make the show shine.
Things we have made are space ships to fly into space, revolving stages to celebrate, lorries for a carnival, tree houses in Africa, cars for Grease, UV items as seen below in the form of a garden. It’s rained on stage, we’ve danced with canes, had splurging guns for Bugsy to name a few.
It’s with great sadness the Scout hut we stored our beloved props in slowly started to fall down and unfortunately is not saveable. Whilst we were very lucky to have had support from another charity to store our precious props they need their space back.
Moving forward we would like to buy our very own Shipping container. This will give us the much needed space to store all of our scenery, props, staging and equipment for many years to come.
We have a location to put it but desperately need help to be able to purchase it, transport it and make it weatherproof. Ideally we would like to buy some solar panel lights so we can see in it.
We would value any donation to help us reach this target so our show can continue to shine and the Scouts and Guides of High Wycombe can perform with pride.
