Rebuild Hickory Nut Falls Family Campground After Helene

The Phillips family has lost their business, their income, and quite possibly everything, including their home. Please support in helping rebuild everything they have lost due to Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina!

As annual campers at Hickory Nut Falls Family Campground for decades, we (Starling Family) wanted to find some way to help them rebuild the tragedy that Hurricane Helene brought. ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO THE CAMPGROUND AND FAMILY!

Hickory Nut Falls Family Campground began in 1970 and has remained a family owned business ever since. Hurricane Helene has destroyed the entire town of Chimney Rock including this beloved campground. Current family owners, Robin and Bennett are unable to get back to check on the status of the campground besides knowing they have lost most of it- including the bridge, office, and personal cabins. They still do not know the status of their own home, knowing it could very well be washed away with the rest of the town. When evacuating last minute, they only took themselves and their dogs.

This family has worked so hard in so many ways to give to their community and open their campground up as a safe environment for all families to enjoy. When you become a camper with them, you become family. Anyone who knows this family or has been to this campground knows the impact it has made on this community for decades.

Please support in giving to this family so that they can recover from lost wages, and begin rebuilding their life, their business and even possibly their home.
