<div>  As many of you know, my stepfather Greg passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on November 6th. His loss has left our family heartbroken — and facing challenges far beyond anything we ever could have prepared for.
</div>
<div>Greg wasn’t just a stepfather. He was the provider and full-time caretaker for my disabled mother, Joanne. He also opened his home and heart to my 8 nieces and nephews, raising them when their parents were unable .Greg carried so much on his shoulders, and now every responsibility he held has fallen on mine.

<div>  On top of that, Greg’s home — the only thing he owned — is in danger. The property already has a lien, and code enforcement showed up immediately after his passing about trash on the land. Greg lived on his 5 acres for 31 years without a single complaint, and now suddenly everyone seems to want to take it away.
</div>
<div>We’ve discovered that Greg had fallen behind on property taxes and was struggling financially, but he kept all of that to himself. I have 6 months to bring the property up to code or risk losing the home completely.

<div>  With all of this happening so fast, we haven’t even had the chance to plan Greg’s funeral services.
</div>
<div>I’m doing everything I can, but I can’t do it alone.
</div>
<div>We need help — for cleanup, repairs, property costs, my mother’s care, and funeral expenses. Even extra hands for the property would mean the world. Greg loved his land, and he loved his family deeply. I’m trying my best to honor him and keep our family together, but I’m one person doing the work of many.
</div>
