You are the key to making a difference and saving this national treasure and keeping it out of the landfill. Green Gables is listed on the National Registry, as a historical landmark but it’s still at a huge risk of being torn down for commercial gain.  We are raising money to benefit Green Gables at Historic Riverview Village, so the nonprofit can purchase, save the house and refurbish it as a community center, living museum and offer outreach and educational programs for all ages. The surrounding 1.15 acres of green space, with 100+ yr old trees, on the river, is also at risk of destruction.
