Save our Girls School from Closure

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

The next generation of young British Muslims urgently requires your help and generosity.

Abu Bakr Girls School in Walsall has regrettably been forced to close its doors to its students due to its inability to pay an outstanding energy debt.

We are therefore asking you to donate wholeheartedly towards a £60,000 target which will cover the outstanding balance and allow the school to continue for another year.

Please note, all donations will be directly paid towards the energy debt by an Independent Group.

The clearing of the debt will allow the Independent Group to find a permanent solution to save the school, its assets, and the buildings being sold off to pay the debts.

Our Independent Group has no affiliation with the current Abu Bakr Trustees. Our genuine concern and priority is to avoid the school closure and begin under a new team.

Abu Bakr school was established in 2000 and has provided a safe, secure and supportive Islamic environment. The broad, balanced and wide-ranging curriculum ensures its pupils attain high-quality grades in traditional academia whilst supplementing it with lessons in Arabic, Quranic Studies and Salah. Throughout the years and due to the teachings of the school, thousands of young Muslims have developed into articulate, confident and resilient adults, ready to make a positive contribution to their community and wider society.

In a time of ever-increasing fitnah where the Muslim ummah requires a firm grounding of Islamic knowledge for its youth more than ever, it is imperative we heed the call of our community and do our part to ensure we are contributing to the success of our future generation and in turn for our own success in the hereafter.

God says in the Qur’an “Who is it that would loan God a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over” (2:245)

So the question is, which of you will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to earn limitless Sadaqat Jariyah and receive the multiplied benefits of spending in the path of Allah?
