Save Florence Joseph

Hello, my name is Temitope Awofeso and I created this GoFundMe for my aunt, Florence. She needs a kidney transplant to save her life. Unfortunately...this costs a lot of money - especially when you also factor in the hospitalization costs,  as well as starter medications - which is why we're on this platform. Simply put, we need your help. Whatever you are able to donate will help immensely.

My name is Florence Joseph. I am 47 years old and used to be a very vibrant young woman; unfortunately, I'm now trying to raise money to help with expenses for a kidney transplant. I was diagnosed with Kidney disease in January 2017, which was brought about due to hypertension/high blood pressure and have been fighting a daily battle with it. I have been undergoing dialysis about once a week or once every two weeks as that is what we can now afford. Unfortunately this has made matters a little worse. My family has expended all their resources on this ailment; and my friends have been amazing, but now I am left with no choice but to seek help from the public.

I have now been told by the doctors that my only chance of survival is through a kidney transplant which will cost ~N7.3million; I will also need an additional N4.5million for hospital admissions, tests, and to buy at least 3 months worth of immunosuppressive drugs for a little while (post surgery). I am hoping to have the surgery at the Zenith Medical & Kidney Centre, Abuja. Any money donated is greatly appreciated, no matter how little you may think it is – every little helps.

Please help me in raising the equivalent of $35,000 for a healthier and longer life.
