<div>In 2020, I rescued Falkor from a kill list, and he ended up rescuing me right back. During my cancer treatment and recovery, this incredible boy became my constant companion, got me out of bed each day, and truly helped save my life. Due to my cancer treatment, I can’t have children, so Falkor isn’t just my pet - he’s my son, my whole world.

<div>For the past few months, Falkor has been struggling with concerning symptoms including gut issues and other health issues. We’ve been working tirelessly with veterinarians, running blood tests, trying different medications, and changing his diet, but we still don’t have answers.

<div>This week brought devastating news. After an ultrasound, the veterinary team suspects Falkor has severe protein-losing enteropathy - a serious condition affecting his intestines that’s causing dangerous protein loss throughout his body. The ultrasound also revealed abnormal fluid in his abdomen and concerning changes to his small intestine and pancreas.
