<div>In a small, rural village in Bangladesh, <strong>8-year-old Sheikh Ershad</strong> should be running through the fields with his friends. Instead, he sits in the shadows, gasping for air. His fingernails and lips are turning blue—a terrifying sign that his heart is failing to pump oxygen to his body.

<div><strong>When asked what he wants to do when he gets better, Ershad quietly said: "I just want to run."</strong>

<div>Ershad was born with <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cRYkbm43Is" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Tetralogy of Fallot</strong></a> , a complex combination of four heart defects. A massive 16mm hole in his heart is causing "blue" and "red" blood to mix, starving his organs of the oxygen they need to survive. His latest medical scans show a "Severe" blockage.
