Support Eluwa, Chinedu Austin and give him hope for life.
Our dear friend Eluwa Chinedu Austin was diagnosed with a kidney disease towards the end of August last year and has subsequently, despite all our best efforts, been diagnosed with end stage kidney failure. He is currently undergoing bi-weekly dialysis, his doctors have advised that his only hope for survival is that he gets a kidney transplant at the earliest opportunity.
Eluwa Chinedu Austin is a 43 year old Nigerian born to the family of Mr & Mrs Emmanuel Eluwa both from Ikwueke-Oboro, Ikwuano LGA, Abia State. He is happily married to his wife of 12 years (Mrs Chidinma Eluwa) and the union has been blessed with 4 wonderful kids.
He attended the Federal Government College Wukari In the present day Taraba State (1991 Set). He's also an alumnus of the University of Nigeria Nsukka where he graduated with a bachelors degree in Marketing in 1999.
Upon completion of his NYSC program he joined Sigma Engineering Limited as a sales executive. He later joined Jagal Nigeria Limited as a plant administrative officer in 2005. A position he held until he was promoted to the company's Transport manager in 2012. He worked with Jagal in various capacities until he resigned in 2016 to set up his own haulage business.
As a result of the health challenges facing Eluwa Chinedu Austin, had to take time off his hectic business to attend to his health needs, a challenge that has eaten deep into his finances. Chinedu is currently being treated at Kidney Solutions & Clinix where he undergoes bi weekly dialysis. He also goes for his regular checks and tests at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH)
We have put this page together, with a modest goal, to (hopefully) help the current and impending expenses of this transplant surgery.... A literal "life saver". So far the costs for dialysis are being covered out his own pocket and donations from close friends and family. Given the estimated cost of the kidney transplant we sincerely can't tell you how much every little contribution, no matter how big or small, will mean to us and we are incredibly grateful for the support, prayers, and positive thoughts of everyone involved. God willing this fundraiser will help to propel our dear friend through the final and most crucial stage of this incredible challenge.
