CAN YOU HELP SAVE EEVEE'S LIFE

Meet Eevee who was rescued from a horrible situation at 4 wks old weighing less than a pound, with worms and covered in fleas.

My son, Shane Zuzek, rescued Eevee and instantly fell in love with her. The bond between them is like no other.

The happiness only lasted a few weeks when he found out Eevee has a very rare heart condition called PDA. This is when the temporary blood vessel that connects the aorta to the pulmonary artery remains open after birth making the heart over work. If it is not surgically closed Eevee will most likely not see her 2nd or maybe even her 1st birthday.

Due to Eevee's small size, weighing only 2 lbs 14 oz, open heart surgery is the only way to close the vessel.

We already found out Eevee's heart is slightly enlarged due to the extra work it has had to do in the first 3 months of her life. So surgery has to be done as soon as possible.

As you can imagine the cost is very high and to come up with that amount of money so quickly is near impossible for Shane. That is why we are reaching out to see if others are able to help.
