My name is Megan. Usually, you see me begging for a dog I’m rehabbing or my sanctuary dogs. I don’t ask for help with my personal dogs because I got them. But this time I’m scared. Today I’m begging for Ducky. He is feeling quite punkish, has diarrhea, and to ice the cake… he has a foreign body. He decided that the snuffle mat no longer needed a cord and removed it. And ate it. ‍♀️

He is the epitome of a hot mess express. He has been a train wreck since he entered my life. Most people don’t know, but he is literally the reason I’m still alive. The depression after my car accident and Scooby passing was so bad I didn’t want to get out of bed. He made me get my ass out of bed. He was very needy and required a lot of care for the first 6 months.

Low end $2644 - High end $4326. Surgery and supportive care aren’t cheap and the estimate may fluctuate. And he will be on a canned food diet while his stomach heals. (He is allergic to chicken, so his canned food is a little more expensive).

I set my goal high to cover fees and extras. I would also like to get the deposit back to my guardian angel so she can keep on doing her thing!

I do have one substantial donation that will go towards the surgery bill.

I spent my car payment plus some for our first vet visit.

I bounced my checking account to get gas to get him here.

I’m literally struggling just to get by, and my dogs like to kick it up a notch each time they cost me money.
