Save Destiny Barry

My name is Barry , I am 24 years old  and I was involved in a ghastly motor accident on February 24th, 2015 from where i sustained injury to my spinal cord- T11/T12. This injury resulted to paralysis of both legs and i have been bed ridden since that incident. 

On April 24th, 2017, i lost my father who had been my support and the primary care taker of my medical expenses and associated needs.

I was forcefully discharged from the hospital because of non-payment and it has been a struggle to survive.  My inability to walk has kept me using a urinary catheter which has been infected several times.

Life has been unbearable for I and my mother who has to stay home and support me with my daily needs. Barely having enough to eat, we cannot afford to pay for regular change of my catheter.

I am pleading with the general public to please help me with financial aid to help with my treatment and especially to medical professionals for aid towards any procedures or assistant to help improve my mobility as I can not do it alone.

I aspire to become a computer scientist and wish to return to school to accomplish that as soon as i can move from this bed.
