Save Daphne's Life

I am raising money to help my dear friend, Jessica Simmons, save her beloved mare's life. Daphne has become seriously ill after suffering a laceration of unknown origin that went down to her bone. This led to infection, which led to cellulitis. She was treated once by a vet, and now her infection has returned. More diagnostic testing will be done tomorrow morning, including an ultrasound, to see if any foreign body could be in her leg, and to also locate any pockets of infection that remain. She may or may not also require surgery, depending on what the vet finds.
We are a close knit animal rescue community in the Baltimore Metro area. Jessica is heavily involved on a daily basis in helping animals in need. I can personally attest to the fact that she is the first in line to lend a helping hand or offer support when an animal needs help. Please, if you are able, donate what you can.
