We are respectfully asking for assistance with attorney fees.
Through May 2022, we have currently incurred over $17,500. in attorney fees.
It was well spent in my opinion and we will continue to retain him until we wake up from this nightmare!!
The city of Sebastian has done a 2nd inspection.
The report came out in April.  It was certainly not as devastating as the first report.
They have approved $50,000 to do "safety repairs" to the dining room.
The city is getting bids, as I speak, and then will have to take them to council again to get approved.
It's been a LONG 7+ MONTHS!!

We are finding it hard to ride this summer out and hope that we can make it through the off season while waiting to get back to normal.

It is so sad that our first season after over a year of Covid turned into a complete nightmare, both emotionally for all us  working here, and financially for the business.

Our dining room and outdoor seating has been shut down since November 4th, 2021 by the city of Sebastian (who owns this building) based on an UNSIGNED and UNSTAMPED engineering report that was drawn up in October 2021.

As some may have heard before "Ya can't fight City Hall".
Well folks, we are sure going to give it our best shot!

We are fighting for:
1. The survival of the best & freshest seafood market in Central Florida, and beyond
2. The survival of the best seafood eatery ANYWHERE!
3. The survival and continued jobs for the best 14 employees Crab E Bill's has ever had!
4. Being able to serve our loyal customers and community for many years to come.
5. The last legacies of both "Crab E Bill" Tiedge, AND Stan Mayfield, from the Florida House of Representatives, who created the grant to renovate our building over 10 years ago.

We will always be PROUD, and with good conscience, knowing that from DAY 1,  Crab E Bill’s, Inc. respectively followed and complied with the Stan Mayfield Grant of $2.5 million, funded in 2008 by the state of Florida.
Our site was one of his visions for "Working Waterfronts" in Florida and was created to promote commercial fishing in Florida and its history.
