Help With the Surgery Copper Needs!

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a plea to help my sweet dog, Copper. Just two months ago, I adopted Copper from a rescue agency in Texas, and he has brought so much love and joy into my life. He’s a small, playful, and affectionate little dog with a heart full of love for everyone he meets—especially his brother Beegie, my other dog, who he adores playing with.

Unfortunately, the night before Thanksgiving, something terrible happened. While Copper and his brother were playing and running around, Copper’s leg snapped. He broke his tibia and fibula—a devastating injury for such a tiny dog. No one caused the accident, he was simply playing too hard.

Copper was in a lot of pain and urgently needed surgery to repair his leg. Without it, he faced amputation. The total cost of the surgery and ER visits were $11,000, and while I wish I could cover it all on my own, I’m reaching out for help to make sure Copper gets the care he deserves.

Copper has already been through so much as a rescue, and I want to give him every chance to live a happy, healthy life. Every little bit helps, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this page with others who might be able to help.
