Help Save my cat Christian in his Fight Against FIP Virus
Donation protected
Introducing Christian, once a precocious and energetic 10 month-old rescue kitty, now facing a tough battle against FIP! This virus exists in all cats but only a few will have it mutate and become fatal. The virus is a cat coronavirus and has historically been a death sentence unless this medicine is given. Chis has a chance at survival with this medication. He was prescribed appetite stimulant as he was only 4.3 pounds. We caught the condition early enough that he has a chance for a full recovery.
We now see that he can make it. The kitty that began losing his ability to walk on both front and back legs is now walking. The kitty who could barely pick his food up because of severe head shaking due to the neurological affects of FIP, that he just gave up, is now eating enough to begin gaining weight.
We have learned that we will need total of $6000 to finalize treatment to eradicate the virus from his system. Christian has been taking this medication for 40 days and he needs 44 more days. The financial burden is daunting and has been very expensive for our family. The alternative is to put him down, since we have been advised that it is very likely that he will regress if he does not continue and complete the full course. I'm reaching out to everyone reading this heartfelt message, our compassionate community, for support and help to save Christian.
I have already filmed a video documenting my medication regimen. I hope to share it to show others how to be confident in giving their kitties their meds. It's not easy but the video will help others and let them know they are not alone.
Christian is a kitty with such great strength and energy. He has been adopted into a family with a daughter who was originally allergic and a son with autism who adores him. Please consider generous support of Christian. We are hopeful that he will continue to thrive and eventually recover from FIP. You can make all the difference in securing his bright future. Please join us in helping Christian. No matter the donation size, we are grateful to give him a chance at life.
Please consider helping Christian to continue to receive this life sustaining medication. Thank you.
