My father has just gotten out of the hospital to find his 4-year-old dog, Cesar, in critical condition. Cesar is a spirited Frenchie, he loves cuddling, playing, and making adorable weird Frenchie-type noises.
Cesar was diagnosed with Brachycephalic syndrome with acute respiratory distress. Until he receives a life-saving surgery to fix anatomical issues such as a narrow windpipe, and everted laryngeal saccules, he requires a shot of Trazodone and Acepromazine every 8 hours to keep him sedated, lowering the risk of respiratory distress. It is a high requirement to keep him alive long enough to receive surgery.
Please help us save this poor dog, and my father's one companion. He brings so much joy and life to everyone in his orbit, and deserves a long healthy life.
