Save Candy from Slaughter

Candy is in desperate need of rescue and is currently at the horse knackery in Victoria, Australia.
She was sold at the Bairnsdale Horse Auction on December 2, 2017 and was purchased by the Maffra knackery where she is waiting to be slaughtered.
She is only 9 years old and has been bred with repeatedly. Two of her babies are also at the knackery - one of her girls called 'Special' is safe with rescue but the fate of her baby boy 'Phantom'... well he needs rescue too and will be dead unless someone steps in.
Candy and Phantom are just two of thousands of horses who end up discarded at the slaughterhouse and while we cannot save them all, we can save Candy today.
I have made contact with Dave who sold her to me, pending transfer of money. Timing is crucial now and Candy does not have much time left.
Today I'd like to raise $1,500 for Candy to purchase her from the knackery ($1200), transport her to Lungta Horse Sanctury ($300). I will pay an extra $500 to provide her some money for vet bills and food.

I have raised the fundraising goal by another $1000 to buy Phantom, Candy's son. He is also at the knackery and will travel with his mother to the Lungta Sanctuary next week.
