WE GOT HER. Thank you to everyone who has helped and is still helping us! We also rescued another and both will be seen by vets so if you still would like to donate, feel free to do so!
Today it has come to my attention that a horse I used to know and ride on occasion has ended up in an auction. It breaks my heart to see that this amazing horse has ended up at the kill pen. It is my hopes to raise the funds to get her back and save her! She was sold to a "forever home" about a year ago. She looks a bit underweight from when she was sold and lack muscle but for an auction horse she doesn't appear half bad. Although, we have know idea what she is like health wise. It is said that she is rideable but horses don't typically end up at a kill pen just because so we don't really know if that's true, people often lie in situations like this. For now my goal is to just raise enough to get her out of this horrible place but if we could raise enough to cover possible vet bills as well that would be ideal. It takes a village in these type of situations and I'm hoping we can ban together to save this mare!
