Installing Bluebird Houses - Eagle Scout Project Troop 44

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Rohan Kulkarni, and I’m currently an 11th grader and a Life Scout in Troop 44, Edison, NJ. As someone deeply committed to protecting wildlife and improving my community, I’ve chosen to focus my Eagle Scout Service Project on helping native bird populations thrive right here in New Jersey.

For my project, I will be building and installing a series of bluebird houses at the Ernest L. Oros Wildlife Preserve in Avenel, NJ - the beneficiary of this project. Bluebirds are beautiful native birds that have faced habitat loss due to development and competition from invasive species. By providing safe nesting spaces, we can help restore their population in the area and support the overall health of this local ecosystem.

I’m currently raising funds to purchase the materials I’ll need to build these birdhouses and ensure they’re properly installed. Every donation—big or small—will go directly toward making this project a success and supporting local wildlife for years to come.

Any leftover funds will be donated to the beneficiary for other improvements in the park.

Thank you for your support in helping me give back to both my community and the environment.

Note: All funds will be handled by my parents.
