Save Bethel Congregational Church

Bethel needs your help - to repair and rebuild.

We've had to face a LOT of repairs - some just ongoing maintenance, some sudden emergencies, some just simply everything going wrong at once (like what happens with cars.....) We've had complete heating system failures, pipes bursting, roofs leaking, etc. , etc. Add to that our regular expenses (like insurance premiums, assessments, high gas bills, etc.) - and our small but energetic congregation is trying - but we need help! (And we're growing - we'd love to welcome you - We're a diverse and welcoming group of people who love to share the love and grace of God)

Please join me in making THE DIFFERENCE that can keep Bethel's doors open for everyone. I'm raising money to benefit Bethel Congregational Church, UCC, and any donation will help make an impact.

What has Bethel done for community lately?

Provide online worship services and bible studies all throughout the COVID Quarantine, and continued for those who cannot attend in person. We reach people all over the world - including a recent "Online Mission" to a congregation in Nairobi, Kenya.

We provide live, in-person worship and Bible Studies at Bethel - every week!

Provide a worship space for our incredibly diverse community. Our members include many people from many different backgrounds: BIPOC, White, Young, Old, ALL generations (age 1 - 84+), families, singles, Straight, LGBTQIA, Cis... ALL ARE WELCOME. Because God's love and grace are for everyone!

Bethel provides space for LOTS and LOTS of Music and Performing Arts programs, including the Southland Symphony, The Southland Symphony Orchestra Chorus, The Southland Wind Ensemble, Music teacher recitals, The Slave Letters, Opera, and more.....

Bethel provides space for non-profits to hold classes and meeting (Relay for Life, CDC Education Classes, Clergy and Laity United workshops, D'Andre Lampkin Foundation, and more)

Our minister is available for weddings, memorials, counseling, other special events.

Bethel's congregation has served the Ontario community since 1885. The current Historical Building was built in 1912! It's beautiful, and wonderful, and it needs lots of loving restoration. Some things are simple, and many are complex. Bethel needs help to survive and continue serving the Ontario Community.
