AN UPDATE

I wanted to say thank you again to those who gave us your support, all the thoughts, prayers, positive energy our way and the donations. I had used the money towards a vet follow up and was given such a. wonderful diagnosis that he is doing well on medication and did not nor does he need surgery like the ER had told me. I had caught his illness in time. He will continue with medication long term as that is needed. But he is healthy and is doing well and has life ahead of him still.

I can’t express how much this all means to me and to Morten. We are celebrating this continued life together.

I was devastated when my beloved best friend and furbaby Morten fell ill in the last few days. After taking him to the emergency vet, I was giving the diagnosis that he has an obstruction in his gallbladder that will cause his liver to fail and organ to rupture and so needs surgery as soon as possible or it will result in death. I couldn’t afford to do it that same day so I brought him home on meds that were given and that cost was 1,300.

This surgery is estimated to be around 8,000 and it exceeds my current budget. I also have to make a trip to Annapolis MD to get the procedure done.

Any help is greatly appreciated, through funding, prayer and good vibes sent our way and the support of sharing.
