Save Angelina's Italian Restaurant

I have started this page to raise funds for Angelina’s Fine Italian Dining in Littleton CO. The owners are Bob and Chandra Travlos. My name is Monte Aspden and my wife Brenda and I have been patrons of Angelina’s for over 15 years and dear friends with Bob, Chandra and their three children Christopher, Isaiah and Ally.
As many of you are aware Bob has operated Angelina’s for close to 30 years. After speaking to them recently I became aware of some incredibly sad news. Because of COVID-19 and the restrictions that have been placed on how restaurants operate during the pandemic Bob and Chandra are being threatened with having to close Angelina’s permanently.
They can no longer afford the operating costs of running the restaurant. They have exhausted all savings, and loans to just get by this far and there is nothing left. On top of these incredible financial woes Bob’s health is suffering, he had a heart attack just a few short months ago. Top that with having two school age children the burdens are becoming insurmountable. At this point they do not have enough funds to pay next month’s lease, let alone all the other costs involved in keeping Angelina’s running.
Angelina’s has been a staple in Littleton for almost 30 years and the food is beyond amazing. There are no other restaurants like Angelina’s. The love and commitment Bob puts into the food, restaurant and his patrons is second to none. I know my wife and I cannot live without Bob’s cooking. Bob has been a faithful friend to many of us, he is the most passionate, loving man I know, and he loves his wife and children immensely.
I am asking this community, patrons, family and friends of Angelina’s and Bob and Chandra, to please save this restaurant and in doing so save a wonderful family.
