<div>I am Dr. Mohammed Khattab, 81 years old, born in 1945. I hold a PhD in Biochemistry from Germany and worked as a lecturer and professor in several Arab and international universities. Since 1995, I taught at Al-Azhar University in Gaza in the Faculties of Pharmacy, Medicine, and Applied Medical Sciences. After my retirement in 2010, I continued teaching part-time at Palestine University until October 7th, when 90% of life’s necessities in Gaza were destroyed. The devastating war and starvation continue to this day.

<div>Despite my long years of service in education, I have not received any pension, leaving me and my family of six children (two sons and four daughters) in extremely difficult conditions. We rent a single room for $300 per month, with several months of unpaid rent, in addition to our urgent need for food and basic necessities.

<div>Like many families in Gaza, especially those without salaries, my family is suffering greatly. Today, we are in urgent need of support and assistance, and we extend our deepest gratitude to all who stand with us.

<div><strong>I am older than the illegal Zionist entity itself, having survived four Nakbas: 1948, 1967, 1973, and the ongoing genocide today. At just three years old, I lost my father, uncle, and brother to Zionist forces. Despite all these tragedies, I remain steadfast and resilient.</strong>
