<div>Recently, my client and friend, Alexa, found out some very upsetting news about her beloved companion, Alosa. Alosa is an angel and has really been through it health wise and the hits just keep coming. She's now facing a major back surgery and Alexa could really use some help with the upcoming vet bills. Here is a note from Alexa with more about her situation:

<div>"Just two weeks ago, our sweet girl Alosa was full of life—running, playing, and bringing joy to everyone she met. Then everything changed in an instant. She suddenly lost coordination and could barely stand. We rushed her to a neurologist for answers and an emergency MRI, terrified of what we’d find.

<div>That visit alone cost nearly $5,000—but we had to do it to try and save her.

<div>While we hoped for something treatable, we got heartbreaking news: Alosa has constrictive myelopathy, a rare spinal condition where fibrous tissue is compressing her spinal cord due to a malformation in her spine. It’s not something medication can fix. Her only hope is a complex surgery—a laminectomy with rods and screws to relieve pressure on her spinal cord and stabilize her spine.

<div>Without it, her condition will progress, and she’ll eventually lose the ability to walk—forever.

<div>But this isn’t just about Alosa. She has a human toddler brother, Levi, her best friend in the world. They are completely inseparable—she is truly the joy of his life, and the feeling is mutual. He doesn’t understand why she can’t chase him anymore… why she’s hurting. He needs her just as much as she needs him.
