We’re Natalie Hollywood and Andrew Moscardini, parents of three young girls — Persephone (5), Artemis (2) and our newborn Athena.
Natalie lives with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (a rare, disabling connective-tissue disorder) and severe Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome with seizures.

What’s Happening

In November 2024 we moved into our current London flat believing it would be a safe, long-term tenancy. The property is managed by KFH (Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward) on behalf of the landlord.

Since then we’ve been met with serious disrepair and health hazards and were told to leave instead of repairs being made. The damp, mould and inadequate ventilation have severely exacerbated Natalie’s health during pregnancy and our newborn was born into a very active pest infestation.

We’re facing retaliatory and discriminatory eviction proceedings due to our health conditions and the fact we are a family with young children. The managing agent stated:

“We recognise the flat is not suitable for your family, particularly with health issues and young children… we do not wish to be held responsible… we need to part ways.”

How It’s Affecting Us

Natalie was hospitalised for eight days at 22 weeks pregnant because of conditions in the flat and has been severely unwell ever since with convulsive syncope multiple times a week.

Andrew has lost all income as he has had to become full-time carer to Natalie and the children including our newborn.

Right now we have only £20 to last the week for food and essentials.

As winter closes in, the flat has become very unsafe for a newborn and two small children.

We are facing homelessness at the end of October and have nowhere to go.

Our Goal

Our goal is £20,000 to cover legal fees, medical essentials and relocation to safe housing for our children. Any additional funds will go toward ongoing legal and living costs while we stabilise.

Right now we literally don't have enough to feed our children.

What Your Donation Will Cover

Immediate basics – food, nappies, baby items and transport for Natalie this week

Legal fees – full legal representation and expert reports to counter the eviction and hold the landlord to account

Living expenses – covering lost income while Andrew cares for the family

Medical essentials – transport, intravenous fluids, and osteopathy to manage Natalie’s pain

Relocation costs – first month’s rent, deposit and moving costs to get the children into safe housing

Even £10 helps buy formula for Athena for a couple of days; £50 covers transport or food; £200 pays an hour of solicitor time or a medical session to keep Natalie mobile and out of pain.

Why This Matters

This isn’t just our story. It’s about the rights of disabled families and young children to live safely and without fear. Landlords and agents shouldn’t be able to retaliate against tenants who ask for repairs or try to offload responsibility because of a tenant’s health. By helping us, you’re also helping set a precedent for accountability. This has destroyed our ability to generate income and find a safe home.

How You Can Help

Please consider donating whatever you can. If you can’t donate, you can still help by sharing this campaign with friends, journalists and anyone who cares about disability and housing justice.

The stress we are under is impossible for us to handle alone and our children need a village right now.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading, sharing and supporting our family at this critical time.

With gratitude,
Natalie, Andrew, Persephone, Artemis & baby Athena
