Save a hardworking local couple from foreclosure

A very close friend is going to lose his house.  He and his wife have worked extremely hard on this house and to keep it but their employers have laid her off and keep denying him disability.  The history he has with his employer is nothing short of abusive.  Their mortgage is coming due and neither of them have received a single check yet from unemployment nor from disability.  These two are 518 Vegans, extremely empathic and smart individuals and they do everything they can to help and be there for others (including myself).  I am hoping we can pull together and come up with something to help, maybe even enough to help someone who would give everything they had for someone in need. This time is tough and I know it's asking a lot from anyone and everyone.  Thank you for taking the time to read this and also to entertain the idea.  Be safe and take care of yourselves and one another.
