"Preserve 500 acres of Amazon Rainforest in Peru"

For the past 20 years I’ve had the honor of being part of a thriving community and natural medicine healing center in the heart of the amazon rainforest of Peru. Four years ago I was given the amazing opportunity to become land steward of 300 acres of pristine rainforest and chief of operations at Refugio Altiplano Healing Center. There are no words to describe the joy and fulfillment this has brought into my life. To be able to contribute to such a wonderful community of genuine, beautiful humans, as well as helping hundreds of people from around the world heal their minds, bodies, hearts and spirits with the medicinal plants of the rainforest. 



Recently we have been gifted with another amazing opportunity—to acquire and protect the surrounding 500 acres of virgin rainforest that surrounds our healing center and hosts our medicinal plant gardens! The 500 acres we wish to protect is home to pumas, sloths, monkeys and capybaras, snakes, birds, frogs, medicinal plants, and so much more! It provides a huge protective buffer between large scale agricultural businesses, logging operations , potential oil exploitations , and the  surrounding villages of Tamshiyacu and Tarapaca.


More than 25 percent of the Amazon rainforest is already gone, and much more is severely threatened as this senseless destruction continues. The Amazon rainforest is aptly referred to as the 'Lungs of the Planet' because it produces more than 20% of our world's oxygen, and is home to 5 million species of animals, plants and insects.


We are reaching out to you now, our global community of friends and extended family, to help us attain our goal of preserving and protecting this beautiful, magical piece of land. But time is of the essence, as we must gather the financial resources needed to purchase this land by the 22nd of August! Therefore we kindly ask that you please share our campaign with all your friends and families, and anyone else who may be interested, so we can come together and save this valuable ecosystem and all who call it home, for generations to come.

We invite everyone to come to Peru anytime in the years ahead to walk in the rainforest to feel and see the magic for yourselves. This has been a huge vision of mine for many years to protect this land and with your help this dream will now to come to full fruition.
