Save 316 N Stratton Street!

Dear ETA PHI Alumni,

This upcoming academic year, Gettysburg College, in an attempt to remedy its financial mismanagement, has cut off campus housing by more than half: from 98 to 38. The College has made this decision with full awareness that this threatens to kill the Eta Phi Chapter.

As many of you know, the Undergraduates have spent years rebuilding the Chapter on
campus due to our exit from 227 Carlisle St. This has included rebuilding our image and fostering an inclusive culture in cultivating good and moral men.

We don’t want this Chapter, its promises, and its history to disappear; and we won’t let it happen.

If you could spare a donation to save the Chapter that made your time at Gettysburg
College special—and continues to offer the same promise—we would be more grateful
than could be put into words. The Chapter is seeking to raise $20,000 to supplement the Brothers who will pay from their pocket to stay in our house and save our Chapter.
Please contact us with any questions, and we thank those willing to keep Eta Phi alive.

In order to keep the house, 4 brothers must pay an additional $9,000 dollars out of pocket per brother—on top of paying for college housing. We want to lighten this financial burden for those who are stepping up.
The security deposit to reserve 316–$4,000–is due on April 25th.

The remaining $16,000 for the first semester’s rent is due May 30th
