Savannah and Valencia Basquez Fund
Donation protected
On Sunday, July 17th, our family experienced a tragedy beyond belief. Savannah (23), Valencia(21), Josiah(4), Fabian(4), and Max(1) were in a horrific car accident on their way home. We lost Savannah in this accident. Savannah was a single parent; she left behind 4-year-old Josiah. She was an incredible Mom, Daughter, Sister, Cousin, Niece, and Friend. A beyond fantastic woman, words could never explain. She was beautiful, charismatic, energetic, thoughtful and full of life. Her absence is like the sky, spread over everything. Our family will never be the same.
Valencia's in the hospital with serious injuries. She had successful surgery on July 19th. She's trying her best to be strong for her babies, Max and Fabian. Her road to recovery will not come fast or easy, and it won’t be a sprint but a marathon. She is making admirable recovery strides in hopes of being discharged and reunited with her babies. Valencia’s motherly resilience and power are undoubtedly a representation of her love for the boys. Thankfully all three boys will be okay and have been discharged with non-life threatening injuries.
We are asking for everyone to please share their story in any way and donate as you feel. These donations will help our family give Savannah’s beautiful soul a proper burial we would never have prepared for at her age. In addition, Valencia and the boys will need as much financial support as possible to overcome the long road ahead of ongoing medical expenses and loss of wages during recovery. Our sincerest gratitude goes to anyone who can share, pray, or donate.
