Savage Heroes for Savage Joy!!

Joy Marie Mann has given her all for the progressive community over the past two years, and recent circumstances in her life have provided a great opportunity for those of us within that community to give one of our sisters a little help in return. 

Joy has been scheduled for gallbladder removal, ovarian cyst removal, and if that weren't enough to deal with - an ocular degeneration condition for which she was already getting injections in her left eye, has begun aggressively affecting her right eye.

Currently, Joy is fighting with her insurance company to approve her right eye injection therapy, which she requires to preserve her eyesight. Awaiting these injections, she cannot work because she can't see out of either eye at present.

"Savage Joy" as she is known on the Real Progressives network, has been a staunch supporter of progressive political candidates. Via her shows, Joy has provided media coverage and promotion and thus assisted MORE campaigns than pretty much any one individual that I can think of. Her dedication, positivity, and spirit make Joy a shining star among Berners and other progressives. She needs help now, and she deserves to know how much we appreciate her.

Joy and her husband are facing mounting debt, recovery time from surgeries, and even worse, are facing some potentially scary medical outcomes for Joy.
