Hi I'm Sally, and I've worked in the care industry for 30 years, running my own care business for adults with learning disabilities for the past 16 years. I will be taking part in the New Years' Day swim to raise funds for Saundersfoot Sports and Social Club so they can install a lift to allow disabled access to their facilities.

Around 24% of the UK population experience some form of disability and when it comes to attending some venues disabled people face many potential barriers, inaccessibility being one of them.

Saundersfoot Social Club is an integral part of the community, providing a relaxing and sociable place for people to connect and engage in shared interests, which is why it's vital they install this lift so that everyone can enjoy the facilities they offer.
