Saskia, Scott and Sweet Pea
Last Sunday, our beautiful friends Saskia and Scott lost their baby girl they called Sweet Pea.
Saskia had shared the experience of her pregnancy with us step by step through social media, and we all enjoyed being a part of it - we felt like we were right there with her. Now she is graciously sharing her experience of loss with all of us. It is a gift to make us all think more deeply about the fragility of life and how grateful we are to be here with the ones we love.
Our hearts are collectively breaking for our beautiful friends in their unimaginable time of heartbreak. Saskia and Scott are generally the ones in life who give to others, not receive. But in our collective pain, especially for those of us from far away, I've set up this gofundme page for anyone who wants to and is able to provide some financial assistance to Saskia and Scott.
Our gifts could help them pay for any expenses they are incurring, a memorial to honour their baby girl, food, or just to help them stay off work longer to heal from this tragedy.
