Sasha's Dental Surgery and Braces

Hi everybody, I don’t normally post stuff like this, nor do I know how to properly word everything, but my family and I decided that the time has finally come to take action and ask for your helping hand!!

My beautiful baby sister, Sasha, was born with a cleft lip March 4, 2005. As a baby, she had to go through multiple surgery procedures to fix the cosmetic appearance of the lip, but unfortunately her jaw structure and teeth have taken a big hit from the genetic defect, especially in the last couple of years. Everyone who’s ever met Sasha knows that she’s always laughing, smiling, forever being her goofy and quirky self, but now that she essentially has a second row of teeth growing in above her first row she's been developing insecurities about her physical appearance at only 12 years old. Above all else, she’s been enduring acute pain, and has developed chronic sinus + “cold” symptoms due to a malformed jaw and nerve endings. Seeing the new tooth erupt in the last couple of weeks has put us all on edge (to put it lightly) and quickly made us realize that the situation is becoming more and more critical with every passing day! In light of this situation and Sasha’s 13th birthday coming up in the next couple of days we’ve decided to start a fund to go towards surgery expenses, braces, orthodontist appointments, retainers, maintenance etc. We’re not quite sure how long this process will last, but our family can use all of the support we can possibly get!!! I’m definitely not used to asking for money from friends or the public, but if you even have $1 to spare it will go such a long ways in helping our family cover everything in the next couple of years, and not to mention help Sasha look and feel good for the rest of her life. She's such a sweet, charismatic, sensitive, and honest human so to see her in so much pain and experience this much insecurity at a young age is really sad :(

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this through. Every cent counts, truly!!
