Sarai's Family Hurricane Relief

Monday morning a sweet girl (Sarai) that has baby sat our girls called in panic. She was wanting gas cans, water, and anything else we could help her with to go get her family in Houston. When she left I kept thinking there is no way she is going to get in there to get her family. Her sister and niece were in a third floor apartment with water in the second floor. Her family's tiny church had been completely flooded and her parents were now under voluntary evacuation. I was so worried about her. She called me about midnight to let me know she brought back 17 peopled. She is 22 and did this all on her own. They are staying in a local shelter. We had them over last night to just get away for awhile. There were so many stories and tears. They are just the most beautiful family. They had lost almost everything and they ended the night surrounding us and praying for our family. I couldn't believe I was surrounded by people who lost so much and they were praying for US. I know many of you have already given so much to the relief of the hurricane, but if you have anything to spare it would mean so much. We are hosting dinner here this evening and my friends and mom have helped cover the dinner. I am hoping to send them off with a good amount of visa gift cards. Some of the men work in factories and have been called back to work. I just want them to be able to stop and get the things they need. Any input or help would be so appreciated. My plan is to get multiple visa cards in hundred dollar amounts so we can disperse them. So if you can give 10 or 100 either would be amazing.
