Sarai Flores: Zeteo Missions Trip

Two years ago, I discovered my passion of working for children who come from unsteady backgrounds. I felt called to serve, but was unsure how. I was then introduced to Esther Berg. Esther Berg started a mission in the Philippines that is a residential care home for neglected and abused children located in Pangasinan, Philippines known as Zeteo Missions. Zeteo Missions provides a safe home for 10 children with the goal of healing from physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual damage that has been inflicted on them.
When I first met Esther, I was hopeful to go volunteer for Zeteo in 2020. However, the mission took a great hit from the pandemic and the country shut down. After two years of hardship, the Philippines has finally reopened and I am able to go.
I will be leaving in early October, and I plan on staying through August of 2023. Because I am a student, I am asking for financial support. I will need help covering the cost of my plane tickets and my extra expenses such as Visas, luggage, monthly budgeting, and so on. Any extra money donated will go directly to the mission.
I am excited for this next journey in my life, and I am grateful for any support. I look forward to spending the next year working with Kate and Esther Berg!
