Sarah’s Medical Mission

I wanted to share an exciting opportunity I have this summer to participate in a Medical Mission and  Educational program in Monterey, Mexico.  I have been accepted into a program with the National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Leaders called, Future Docs Abroad. This is a very intensive medical internship. I will have the opportunity to shadow physicians in the hospital, observe surgeries and volunteer in medical clinics. I will also be able to work with cadavers, while being trained to better understand the anatomy of the human body.
I am tasked with raising my own funding for this program.  During the past year, I have earned $1500 which I am personally contributing. I wanted to also invite my friends and family to participate with me in this endeavor. Thank for your support and encouragement as I pursue my future goal of becoming a physician.
