Avery's Cancer Treatment

Let me just tell you about Avery.
He's one of those people that you just love from the minute you meet him. He's always smiling and laughing. He always has a good attitude about everything. If you ever need any help with anything, he will always come. But he'd never ask for anything from you.

We've all had those friends growing up that you didn't want to bring to your house. They might let the profanity slip in front of your parents, or they just don't talk to your parents at all... except maybe a mumble here and there. But, then you have that one friend that is polite to the whole family, plays with your little siblings, and calls your parents ma'am and sir. Your parents see them as one of their kids.
That's Avery.
He's family.

He is fighting right now against an enemy he's already defeated once- Hodgkins Lymphoma. It just came back stronger and is now in his spine and bone marrow. At 26 years old, Avery still has a lot of life ahead of him and this enemy is trying to rob him of that. Avery is very strong and resilient, and he's taking the same steps as last time that won him the battle, and the recovery from cancer, but this time he's getting worse.

When someone you love sends you a text that says "I'm tired of fighting the fight", you take action.

The treatment that he needs is very expensive, and is not covered by insurance. He has become unable to work right now and his amazing, supportive and loving family is considering selling their property in order to pay for treatment. Avery doesn't want them to lose their home. He doesn't want to have to ask for help from anyone either, but I am asking you right now. I assure you that my family and I, and all of the people who love Avery, are doing everything that we can to earn the money that he needs, but 20k is a lot of money! And this is a very time sensitive issue.
