Sarah Bauhan's New Album Project

Donation protected
UPDATE:
The first CD launch is a week away—November 19th in Kittery Point and the second is in 2 weeks in Hancock on the 26th!

There is still time to contribute!
We even have a new perk —T-shirts!!! 100% cotton with Kim Cunningham's terrific cover art of Elmwood Station!

THE PROJECT:
"Elmwood Station" - with Sarah Bauhan, Jane Orzechowski, David Surette, and Kent Allyn as the core band, guest musicians Kirsty Anderson, Francis Orzechoswski, Russell Orzechowski, and others, and vocals by Susie Burke and Chloe Green.
15 tracks of tunes and songs, some original, some old favorites, some new discoveries.

BACKGROUND:
It's been 10 years since the release of my last album, Lathrop's Waltz. Life has been rich and full in the interim, but for a while now I have been feeling the pull of the studio. So with loads of new tunes, old favorites, a few tunes that I've written, and some amazing vocals, we began rehearsing at the beginning of the year and started recording the basic tracks in July.

THE ASK:
Of course, these days, the model has changed for how these things work, and I'd like to ask for all your help in bringing this album to fruition/completion. Most everything is sold online, either by digital download or through streaming and though we will certainly have  CDs to send out and sell in as many places as possible, the bulk will be online,  which is why I am making this "big ask."

We have loads of great incentives/rewards: from the simple digital download to getting a copy of Kim Cunningham's print commissioned for the cover art and  all the way to a house concert, with lots of fun stuff in between.

I am so very grateful and thank you all so much for all your love, support, and encouragement—now and over the years! We will wrap up this campaign by October 15th, with the release of  the album at the end of November. Concerts are already set for November 19 at the Kittery Art Association in Kittery Point, Maine, and November 26 in Hancock, New Hampshire.

I will keep updating reguarly with photos, video, "rough mixes," etc. Please share these as widely as you can!

Together we will make this happen!
Thank you!!!

P.S. There isn't room for a lot of description in the rewards - so if you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Also, if you would rather give "offline" please let me know.

P.P.S. Here are a couple of links to entice you . . . They are rough mixes of the recordings.

The first link is to a medley of two very old pieces collected by Simon Fraser in 1805 in Scotland: The Languor of Love and the Grant of Sheuglie's Contest betwixt his Pipe Fiddle, and Harp.
The second link is to a Lui Collins' song Blessed, which Chloe Green and Linda Schrade sang at Jane and my wedding. Here Susie Burke and Chloe reprise it most beautifully!
