Sarah volunteers in Africa again!

I'm heading back to volunteer in Africa (Uganda) again this January. This time, rather than doing more dental, I'm putting my teaching skills to good use! I'll be working with an international group who will be teaching African teachers new skills to use in their classrooms.
African classrooms don't have the 'luxuries ' we have.... no electricity (lighting, air con), windows, clean water, computers or whiteboards. Their class sizes are 60+ children. Part of the challenge for me will be to think outside the box and create lessons using very limited resources. Again I'll be able to use this experience when I return to my own classroom and also to help build social and humanitarian awareness in my students. I can't wait!

BUT.... I can't do it without your help! I'm so fortunate that my friends and family supported my last African volunteer experience and I would be so grateful if you could get behind me again. All donations over $2 are tax deductible. So donate a little or a lot, every cent really does help!

My goal amount covers my flights and the cost of the program (accomodation, internal travel to and from the schools, and all food).
