Help towards getting Sarah a Mobility scooter

Hello, my name is Sarah.

I live with endometriosis and fibromyalgia, which can make day-to-day life very challenging and painful. More recently, I experienced what was first thought to be a stroke, but after further tests, I told I have Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) alongside Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). These conditions mean I frequently faint or black out, and sadly, my most recent blackout caused a car accident (thankfully no body was injured) that resulted in my driving licence being taken away for at least a year or until my symptoms are under control.

At the moment, I’m still waiting for an official diagnosis before I can be prescribed a treatment plan, and in the meantime, I’m doing my best to adapt. I use an electric wheelchair, but because so many places are not accessible, it’s not a safe or practical way for me to do essential things like the school run for my son or access my local village.

This is why I’m asking for help. An electric mobility scooter would give me a safer and more reliable way to stay mobile, look after my son, and regain a bit of independence that I’ve lost. Any support—whether through donations or sharing my story—would mean the world to me and my family.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for any kindness you can offer

ive added the link for the Mobility Scooter here, so you can see what it is that I will be getting with your help.
