Sarah McGrath Medical Expense Help

Donation protected
No one likes to see their friends or family suffering. Whether it is physically, mentally, emotionally, or financially. Those who know Donnie and Sarah know how strong they are and how they will fight to hide what is really going on. For the past few years, Sarah has been battling Lupus. When you look at her you cannot tell, only those who truly know her can see her pain and suffering. Until last year. Last November, Sarah had to have the first of three surgeries to have infection removed from her legs. Because her body is constantly fighting itself, something small that would be just a bump for anyone else, turns into something more for her. Her infections have gotten so bad that not only has she had to have a wound vac to help her heal, but also a PICC line so that she can continue to get the heavy-duty antibiotics that she needs to heal. Both Donnie and Sarah have great jobs and bust their butts to provide for their family. Unfortunately, after three surgeries in the span of 8 months, numerous doctor’s appointments and medication refills, and a handful of days where she physically could not get out of bed, the medical bills are adding up.

Anyone who has spoken to either Donnie or Sarah in the past week and has found out about the latest surgery has been great friends and family and offered the emotional support they both need to help get through these times. We've all said "if you need anything just let us know". Because of how prideful they are, they would never say this is what they need. Your donation, whether small or big, would take away stress that both are dealing with to make ends meet.

Donnie has been working close to 75 hours a week to help his family. Although he is doing everything in his power, they still need a little help. Sarah has been unable to work and even though she has benefits, she has not been able to be paid for the past 2 weeks she has not been at work. Emotionally, she is trying to be strong to show her family she appreciates everything they are doing, but deep down she feels guilt for the burden that she is putting on her family, even though it is not intentional.

Hopefully Sarah will be able to start back to work next week, but would be limited in the number of hours she can work. When she had this surgery the first time, the financial stress forced her to push herself so her body did not heal like it was supposed to, causing the second infection and surgery. Please help so that she can relax and heal completely so that she can go back to being the caring, supportive person her family needs.

Donnie and Sarah are two people who will drop everything and help anyone. I am sure that they have helped everyone reading this in some way or another. Now is our time to help them back.

Although money is really needed to help pay every day bills plus medical bills, any type of financial donation will work. That includes gift cards to Walmart, King Soopers, and Target. Visa gift cards, MasterCard gift cards, or American Express gift cards are also appreciated. These can help them with their costs.

Please donate and help this family out. In this situation, every little bit truly does help.
