I am launching my campaign for Port Coquitlam City Councillor Port Coquitlam— July 11, 2022 —
“Sarah Harbord launches her campaign for Port Coquitlam City Councillor in the upcoming municipal election on October 15, 2022.
Sarah resides in Port Coquitlam with her husband and three children. As an active member of the community through her children’s school and community sports, Sarah loves her community and wants to make it even better.
Further, Sarah is a Board Member of the PoCo BIA, and she represents Patina Brewing Co. as the Director of Operations.
Electing Sarah will ensure that council represents the community.
As a mother with two teenage daughters, who will one day want to move out and find their own home in PoCo, it will be important to ensure there is a mix of housing that allows young adults to rent or find the opportunity to purchase. As an active member of downtown PoCo, Sarah believes that more can be done to create the small town charm, where all PoCo residents flock to downtown to shop, grab a bite on a patio or attend one of the many special events. Sarah commented “our downtown is something special, but we need to do more. Downtown is a place where our community comes together and celebrates our small town charm.”
Sarah is pleased to have the New Westminster & District Labour Council endorse her Candidacy for election.
