Sarah Drees & Family fund

For those lucky enough to know Sarah Drees, you know she is one of the most genuine, kind & loving people you will ever know.  I have been incredibly blessed to have been dear friends with Sarah since we were 3 years old!  Sarah has begun the most difficult battle of her life & she needs our help.  Back in 2009, Sarah was diagnosed with Acute Myleod Leukemia (AML) and after months in the hospital & rounds of chemo, she has been in remission for several years. However, Sarah has just discovered that her AML has relapsed, and she has months of extremely aggressive chemo ahead of her & hopefully, a bone marrow transplant, if a match is found.  Sarah is now a patient at one of the top cancer hospitals in the country, The James Cancer & Research Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, where she will be for many months.  Sarah feels peace in knowing she is at the right place for her medical care.  However,  the financial implications of a critical illness like Sarah’s can be staggering, even with good medical insurance.   In addition to Sarah’s medical bills, her family will have the added expense of regularly traveling to & from Columbus, paying for accommodations etc.

Sarah’s strong faith & her determination to fight this cancer is unwavering.  Please help me bless Sarah & her wonderful family by helping to ease some of the enormous financial burden they have ahead of them, so that they can focus all their energy on helping Sarah fight this cancer!

Sarah is 42 years old.  She and Dan have been married for 18 years.  They have 2 beautiful daughters, Emma (16) & Hannah (14).
