<div>Two years after her second, double lung transplant, Sarah is training to compete in the 2025 World Transplant Games in Dresden, Germany. Her goal is not only to honor the selfless organ donors who saved her life, but also to raise funds for two charities that contributed to her having a third chance at life: The Bonnell Foundation and Emily’s Entourage. These incredible organizations are dedicated to advancing cystic fibrosis research and providing grants to improve the quality of life for those with cystic fibrosis and organ transplants. Through their support, Sarah received the tools she needed to reclaim her health and pursue her dreams.

Today, thanks to her unwavering determination and the guidance of a dedicated support team, she’s training five days a week to compete in the 50m backstroke in August.
