Sara's Home

Donation protected
On September 20th Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico devastating the island. Sara Garcia's home (our mother/mother-in-law/grandmother) was severely damaged with the hurricane winds. Most of the roofing was blown away and her home suffered water damage to the inside structure. All though this story is not unique to her, she is beyond special and beloved by all of us, her family. We thank God that she is safe but our hearts are heavy knowing she no longer has a house to call home.

Her humble home, made of wood and metal roof sheets was also home to her own mother. It had been in the family for many years. This home provided comfort and love to her children, grandchildren, as well as family members that would  visit the island. It was "abuelita's" gathering place.

It is our mission to rebuild her house and give back to her that place that she can call home. With humble hearts we are asking for your monetary assistance in this process. Please help us by donating any amount you deem appropriate. It would mean so much to us and we would be for ever grateful for your contribution. Every penny raised would be used for the repair and rebuilding of her home. Our hope is to start rebuilding once the power grid to the island has been restored.
